• Can I join more than one community?

  
  Yes! We’d encourage you to pursue membership in all communities that feel like the right fit for you.

• Is there a progression to the certifications I can earn?

  
  We encourage you to purse your Nearpod Certified Educator and/or Flocabulary Certification credentials before exploring what other programs might be a good fit for you.

• Can I get CTLE hours for achieving membership in a Nearpod community?

  
  This is determined by your district or organization on a case by case basis.

• I’m a member of all communities applicable to me. How can I continue learning and growing?

  
  • Actively participate in your community Facebook group(s) • Engage with @nearpod on twitter • Attend a webinar or take a self paced course on the Teacher Resources page • Seek out opportunities to share Nearpod. Teach a friend how to use Nearpod, plan a training at your school, or apply to present at a conference!

• How long does it take to hear back once I apply to a community?

  
  Once you complete your Nearpod Certified Educator application, you’ll hear back within 4 weeks! The Nearpod Certified Trainer program has 3 application periods each year, and you can visit the Nearpod Certified Trainer page to find the next deadline. Invitations to apply to the PioNear program are extended by the Nearpod team.

• Do I need a subscription in order to become certified?

  
  To become a Nearpod Certified Educator, you can be a Silver, Gold, Platinum, or School/District user. To become Flocabulary Certified, you must have an active subscription or trial!

• Do I need to be a Nearpod Certified Educator in order to become Flocabulary certified, and vice-versa?

  
  You can be certified in either program separately, but we strongly encourage you to certify in both products so that you can experience how Nearpod and Flocabulary work together!
