Nearpod is a part of Renaissance Next in two ways:
- The “Summary” and “Skills” tabs in Renaissance Next provide quick snapshots into student performance. The “Summary” tab provides recommended Nearpod lessons for individual student instruction. The “Skills” tab provides recommended Nearpod lessons for groups of students based on common performance. Recommended Nearpod resources are only available for English versions of math, reading, and literacy.
- The search bar in Renaissance Next allows you to search the entire Nearpod Library. Once you select a Nearpod resource, you are brought to the lesson preview page in Nearpod. Here you can sign in to your Nearpod account to launch the lesson with students.
Yes, a Nearpod account is needed to access the Nearpod platform and content library. If you do not have Nearpod through a school or district license, teachers can get started with an individual account. View plan options here.
Schools or districts can purchase Nearpod to give all educators unlimited access and exclusive features. Individual teacher licenses are also available with limited storage and features. Learn more about our plans here.
